Branded with your identity
Clients see your name, logo and color on their portal. The small “Powered by KyroTask” line under it comes off on Business.
Intake requests straight to board
Clients submit an intake form; it lands directly on your project board as a client-visible task. No manual copy-pasting from email.
Transparent yet strictly walled
Clients only see client-facing tasks, milestone progress, and proofing deliverables. Internal comments, hourly rates, and margins stay invisible.
How it works
Visibility is granular per task
You do not have to expose entire boards. Only tasks explicitly toggled as client-visible appear in the portal. Everything else — internal discussions, estimates, and checklists — remains strictly private.
Clients never consume team seats
You never pay per-seat licenses for external stakeholders. Clients log in through separate client slots and never inflate your team seat bill.
Proofing approvals are stamped on the record
Clients review images inside their portal, drop pinned comments on specific coordinates, and click approve or request changes with an immutable logged reason.
Invoices ready for payment in portal
Invoices generated from tracked hours or fixed retainer lines appear directly in the client’s portal with clean print layouts and direct payment links.
Which plan is this on?
Client Portal is included on Pro and Business plans. Pro includes 10 active clients; Business includes 50. Your name, logo and color are on the portal from Pro; the “Powered by KyroTask” line under it comes off on Business. The free plan (up to 5 team members) does not include client portals; every workspace starts with a 14-day full Pro trial with no credit card required.
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay per client user or guest seat?
Clients never consume a team seat — the seats you pay for are your own team. The client portal is part of Pro and Business, and the number of active clients is bounded by client slots: 10 included on Pro, 50 on Business. Each client is one login in the portal.
Can clients see hourly rates, internal comments, or budgets?
Never. The client portal is strictly isolated at the query and role level. Clients only see tasks marked as client-facing, approved proof deliverables, and issued invoices. Hourly costs, margins, and internal comments remain completely hidden.
How do clients log in to their portal?
You send an email invitation with one click. Your client sets their own password from the invite link and lands straight in their branded portal; if they forget it, the portal has its own reset flow.
