Website launch checklist
Everything to ship a site: QA, SEO, analytics and go-live.
After you sign up, this template arrives selected in the first setup step.
Launch day is where the small things become expensive: a missing redirect, an analytics tag that never fired, a page nobody opened on a phone. This board is the sweep that happens before the switch is flipped — content freeze, cross-browser and mobile QA, SEO and metadata, tracking, performance and accessibility — and it keeps going for three days after go-live, which is when most of what breaks actually shows up.
The board
The green column is the done column — every delivered, velocity and trend number is counted from it.
The plan
The day numbers are relative to the start date you choose; they become real dates when the board is created.
- Day 2Content freeze & final copy
- Day 4Cross-browser & mobile QA
- Desktop
- Mobile
- Tablet
- Day 5SEO & metadata check
- Titles & descriptions
- Sitemap & robots
- Redirects
- Day 5Analytics & tracking setup
- Day 6Performance & accessibility audit
- Day 7Go-live
- Day 10Post-launch monitoring
When this is the right one
- You have shipped a site and found the redirect problem a week later.
- QA is spread across people who each assume someone else checked mobile.
- You want a record of what was verified before you handed over the keys.
